Treasurer - Will Polson
Will was raised on a farm outside Wanganui.  After completing a Business Studies degree at Massey University in 1987, he worked for Price Waterhouse in Wellington for three years before he and his wife, Linda, moved to South Africa.  On returning to NZ in 1993, Will joined a pharmaceutical company in Wellington.  Will and Linda's children Lucy and Dougal, were born in 1996.  The family then moved to Sydney for 5 years, 2 years in Paris and a year in the States before coming home to NZ in 2004.  Linda was born and bred in Rangitata Island so when it was time to return to NZ, this is the area to which the family were keen to return to.  Will joined the board of Go Geraldine because his family love living and working here. He is currently working at Lynn River, Linda is working for GJ Gardner and Lucy and Dougal are both in the UK.

Board Member - Kaye Highton
Kaye is another "returnee" to Geraldine.  Her parents Frank and Heather Timblick were very involved in the Geraldine community and it is clear this has rubbed off on Kaye.  Since being back in town Kaye has already made her mark, organising a fundraising ball, for Canterbury children who lost a parent in the Christchurch earthquakes and being involved in other community events.  Kaye and her husband, Nick of Woodbury Electrical, are enjoying being part of a wholesome community and while Kaye is working in Ashburton at Essence Magazine she has Geraldine at heart.  Her enthusiasm for all things, and her ability to "get things done", will be a real asset to our board.

Board Member - Ryan Marsden
Ryan was born, bred and educated in Geraldine.  He had a great childhood and loved everything this area had to offer.  Ryan joined the Royal New Zealand Navy as a Marine Engineer Officer in 1998 and left 10 years later after a fabulously varied and interesting career.  A period of travel, with his wife Leigh then followed, first to Europe to work on Superyachts for two Mediterranean summers and then to Canada for six months to manage a ski lodge in British Columbia.  After all that travel and adventure it was time to return home for some stability.  Ryan and Leigh now have two beautiful girls, Neena (3) and Penny (1).  Ryan managers the family business, North End Motors and loves every second of it.  His main hobbies are racing his speedway car and jetboating.  Ryan is passionate about Geraldine and reminds himself on a regular basis how very lucky he is to be able to live in such a fun, vibrant, close knit small town.
