Showcasing Geraldine
Showcasing just some of the great features of Geraldine

Timeless History
Geraldine was discovered in the 1840s, but it wasn't until 1854 that Samual Hewlings built the first bark hut in Talbot Street.  He married a Maori woman, Nga Hei, and the totara tree which he planted to mark the birth of his daughter still stands on the site today in Talbot Street, opposite the Police station.

Geraldine Marquee

Geraldine @ The Show

The Geraldine Marquee was a hit with the help of 'The Polemen' meeting everyone at the entrance.  The wheelbarrow was full of some great products - Heartland Chips, Valley Brewing Beer, Cec's Muesli, Barkers range, Addmore Elderflower cordial, Clearwater's Yoghurt.  It was a great time with the marquee buzzing with people with a genuine interest in what Geraldine has to offer.
