It is little wonder that so many artists have drawn inspiration from Geraldine, it truly is one of the most breathtaking places on earth, each season has its own special quality and we invite you to experience them all. There are many events throughout the year that showcase this unique area and the vibrancy that each of our distinctly different seasons brings.
Spring
The district springs into life with flowers and forna , lots of wonderful events and activities, gardens open and cafes place out there chairs and umbrellas. A network of walking and biking trails provide access to Geraldine’s beautiful back-country and awe-inspiring scenery. Summer
Summer days in Geraldine are long and leisurely. The mid-summer sun rises as early as 5am and dusk rolls in over Four Peaks around 10pm, leaving plenty of day-light hours to explore or unwind. The climate lends itself to outdoor activities with the temperatures between 20–30C. Enjoy the Canterbury heat as you dine Al fresco, play a round of golf, or take to the clear waterways. More>>
Autumn
Fantastic settled weather and a spectacular backdrop of golds and reds awaits you in autumn.
